Our Beginnings Gymnastics program is for students from the age of 2-6 years. At this age, children are just beginning to learn how their body moves in space and tend to be uncoordinated and clumsy. In our program we focus our training on balance, coordination, building strength, basic gymnastics, basic tumbling, and having tons of FUN! In addition to all of this, we work on important social skills to help our students learn how to wait in a line, take turns, be a good teammate by encouraging their peers, and so much more. Our online system for skill tracking allows you to track your child’s progress as they learn and grow in our beginnings program. All our equipment is sized to meet the needs of our beginning’s students.
This is a transitional class that may require some parent participation. Once a student can stay with their group and follow simple instructions, they can participate on their own.
Students at this level are encouraged to participate on their own, with assistance of their Iron Cross Coach. They are beginning to gain more focus and control of their bodies.
Students at this level are beginning to learn fore advanced gymnastics moves with improved form. This class prepares them to move up to our Recreational Gymnastics and Tumbling Programs.
Our Recreational Gymnastic and Tumbling Programs take a holistic approach to the physical and mental wellbeing of every child. We strive to help our students reach their goals and perform at their personal best by providing positive encouragement, modeling a positive attitude, and helping to build their confidence. Our online system for skill tracking allows you to track your child’s progress as they learn and grow in the sport. Our programs include strength training, total body conditioning, gymnastics and tumbling skills training on all events, and tons of FUN!
Our competitive gymnastics program is by invitation only. We have a Pre-team program (Girls- Future Stars & Rising Stars/Boys- Hot Shots), Boys Junior Olympic Program, Girls Junior Olympic Program, and an XCEL Gymnastics Program. If your child is interested in competitive gymnastics, we will work with them to set goals and provide training and encouragement as they strive to achieve these goals. Competitive gymnastics requires a strong dedication and commitment to the sport.
Our competitive team programs are designed to help students who choose to pursue a career in college gymnastics by providing training in strength and conditioning, developing their physical and mental toughness, and providing advanced gymnastics skills training. Our dedicated coaches strive to provide a positive, loving, and encouraging environment to help gymnasts achieve their goals. Students will participate in local, regional, and national gymnastics competitions.
Periodically we have open tryouts for our pre-team and team programs. We encourage anyone who is interested to speak with their coach or one of our front desk administrators.
